CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of over 480 naturally occurring compounds found in the hemp plant. Cannabinoid Types
The hemp plant contains more than 130 chemical compounds called cannabinoids, which fall into three main categories:

Hemp vs. Marijuana
Products labeled as hemp or Delta variants contain less than 0.3% THC, making them non-intoxicating. Anything above this threshold is classified as marijuana, which can produce psychoactive effects.
